Valentines Day is traditionally a day on which lovers express their love for each other by presenting flowers, gift and sending greeting cards . The main tradition related with St. Valentines Day is the exchange of love notes called valentines and  valentine day symbols gifts like hearts, roses,chocolate,dove, Cupid & more. Mostly lovers exchange valentine greeting cards which show their love towards each other. Some of the customs & traditions of Valentines Day are:-

Marriage Tradition: Most of the people believe that if a lady saw a robin flying in the clouds on Valentines Day, it intended she would get married a sailor. If she saw a sparrow, she would marry a poor man and be very happy. If she saw a goldfinch, she would marry a millionaire.
